This 2-day course teaches data center networking professionals how to enhance DCN security and performance using the HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000 Series with Pensando technology. Designed for network architects, engineers, and security professionals, participants will master the CX 10000’s unique features, learn HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer for network creation and management, implement policy and micro-segmentation using AMD Pensando PSM, and utilize telemetry analytics for monitoring. Prerequisites include data center networking familiarity and zero trust knowledge, with the ACP-DC course recommended. Upon completion, students can deploy cost-effective solutions that secure networks while improving scalability, visibility, and performance.
This 2-day course teaches students how the HPE Aruba Networking CX 10000 Series with Pensando can improve data center network (DCN) security and performance. Students will learn why the CX 10000 is unique and how its placement in the DCN will dynamically change the performance and security. Students will learn how and where to install the CX 10000. Through the HPE Aruba Networking Fabric Composer, students will create and configure their entire network, as well as create and apply policy, including micro-segmentation. Using AMD Pensando PSM, students will understand how it integrates with Fabric Composer and the CX 10000, and they will be able to monitor switches and policy performance.
Prerequisites
It is highly recommended that students be familiar with data center networking principles, including but not limited to understanding zero trust and micro segmentation methodologies. The student should also consider attending the ACP-DC Implementing Data Center Networks course prior to this CX 10000 course as it provides the skills and knowledge to design, implement, and configure complex data center solutions based on AOS-CX switches.
