Description
The Foundations Level 100 Package is the starting point of the Mile2 Certification Roadmap and is designed for anyone looking to begin a career in IT or cybersecurity. No prior knowledge is required. The package is delivered as a blended program with four days of (virtual) classroom guidance, supplemented by self-study materials.
You start with Security Awareness, where you learn what cyber threats are and how to protect yourself and your organization. Next, IT Principles builds a broad understanding of computer systems, databases, applications and networks. The Hardware and Operating Systems modules give you hands-on knowledge of computer components, operating systems and their configuration. Finally, Network Principles teaches you how networks are structured and function.
Upon completion of this package, you will have a solid foundation to advance to the 200-level courses: C)SP (Security Principles) for the management, audit and response track, or C)VA (Vulnerability Assessor) for the penetration testing track.
