How to visit LAI in Schiedam

From Den Haag/Amsterdam:

  1. A13 towards Rotterdam
  2. Kleinpolderplein direction Hoek van Holland (A20)
  3. Exit Schiedam Noord (exit 10)
  4. At the traffic right
  5. Straight until you can not go any further (You will pass several intersections and roundabouts)
  6. Turn right, this is the Westerkade
  7. LAI is at number 18.

From Utrecht:

  1. From Gouda (A20) towards Rotterdam
  2. Kleinpolderplein direction Hoek van Holland (A20)
  3. Exit Schiedam Noord (exit 10)
  4. At the traffic right
  5. Straight until you can not go any further (You will pass several intersections and roundabouts)
  6. Turn right, this is the Westerkade
  7. LAI is at number 18.

From Breda/Dordrecht:

  1. A13 towards Rotterdam
  2. Follow A15 Europoort, follow A4 Beneluxtunnel, Vlaardingen-Oost/Schiedam-West hold (right tunnel!).
  3. After the Beneluxtunnel immediately take the exit Vlaardingen-Oost/Schiedam-West.
  4. At the end of the exit, turn left.
  5. You drive straight until the road goes right. (you pass on your right a hospital).
  6. Straight until you can not go any further
  7. Turn right, this is the Westerkade
  8. LAI is at number 18.

Public Transport:
  1. With the train station to Schiedam Centrum
  2. Get on the bus line 54 - direction De Gorzen
  3. Get off at the stop: Schoolstraat
  4. Cross the street (left) and you are now in the Nassaulaan.
  5. Walk down the Nassaulaan until the end (1 x crossing).
  6. At the end of the Nassaulaan (at the corner) is LAI Westerkade 18.

The Watertaxi is the fasted way of traveling between Schiedam, Rotterdam and Krimpen and Capelle aan den IJssel.
