LAI University 2012

Introduction

A well-trained engineer who is up to date with the latest technologies will have a positive effect on profits. Training results in efficient and fast repairs at lower costs and – not unimportant – satisfied customers. A well-trained engineer can also respond adequately to developments affecting the customer, which may result in extra business. Engineers only have a limited time budget to keep their expertise up to date, however, since the hours spent on training are non-billable and independent study through the internet is time-consuming and requires self-discipline.

LAI University

LAI University is a combination of group tutoring and web-based activities. The group tutoring sessions revolve around hands-on labs in which engineers can increase their expertise. The web-based activities provide relevant information selected by LAI instructors. All engineers have their own LAI instructor. This coach knows them personally, supervises their studies and answers their questions. LAI University is an enjoyable and efficient way for engineers to keep their knowledge and skills up to date.

Recertification

The annual recertification is an important component of LAI University. Because of the efficient teaching, engineers can retain their Apple certificates while studying no more than 40 to 48 hours per year. This time budget includes the annual exams.

Programme 2012

For 2012 we offer an attractive study program with courses on Apple hardware and software. The courses will cover all required as well as optional certifications such as ACSP 10.7.

The courses we have selected for you are:

- Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Hardware Update course, 1 day
- OS X Support Essentials 10.7 Update course (ACSP Update 10.7), 1 day
- One additional day of which content has to be decided. The content will depend on new technologies introduced in 2012, industry trends valuable for ACMT's. More information will be available in 2012.
- Two or more short web-seminars on new technologies or ACMT related information

Price

The costs for LAI University 2012 are 1575 excl. VAT per engineer. This is for a maximum of three days of training, including all the required exams. For AASP's who register 3 or more technicians we offer special pricing programs. Please contact our Apple Training Coordinator Marjo Salo for additional information
