This workshop gives you knowledge to be able to answer the above questions and gives you the skills to do you job in a professional and efficient manner.
prerequisites: Preferable students who passed already the VMware VCP certification (VMware Certified Professional VCP-301 or equivalent) and the associated training.
Students who already have good experience through practical work with VMware Infrastructure 3 are also welcome.
Installation, configuration and deployment knowledge of the c-Class BladeSystem is highly recommended. Knowledge of the HP Enterprise Virtual Array or similar storage array is highly recommended.
target audience: This course is intended for students who need a deeper knowledge of storage configuration and different aspects influencing storage performance inside VMware Infrastructure 3, ideally in a HP Blade and SAN environment.

- Understand different configuration aspects of VMware Infrastructure 3 (best practices)
- Differentiate between “low budget” (iSCSI and NFS) and enterprise (SAN) storage configurations
